Angie Belcher’s Comedy Master Class for Business, groups and schools.

Presentation skills training with a twistfacil pic

Run by a professional stand-up comedian, this stand-up comedy master class focuses on performance confidence, working with nerves and writing material from students own experiences. All participants get to try out their stand-up comedy set and get personalised feedback.  In addition to comedy being an important craft to learn and a great confidence boost it also enhances skills such as, presenting, editing, literacy and physical theatre.

This 1-day presentation overhaul will help people to:

  • Learn why they might struggle to talk about themselves and give tips and tricks for nervousness.
  • Learn how to use comedic devices to create great stand-up sets.
  • Learn to use their body and voice to command a stage.
  • Learn psychological theory which will help them to engage an audience.
  • Feel more confident in school plays, LAMDA examinations and presentations.
  • Discover what they’re about in a new dynamic way.
  • Give their pitches and presentations distinction and gravitas

The Day

The master class will consist of games, exercises and theory to bring students unique personality and experience to the stage. Above all the day will inspire them to be better and more confident communicators. Everyone will get a chance to write and present their set as well as receiving personal feedback.

I  hold a masters diploma in facilitation specialising in working with young people and the arts and have a current DBS certificate and am trained in child protection.
